Changes to Mandatory Training Night


803 Squadron's mandatory training nights are moving to Friday evenings for this training year. The evening starts at 18:30 (6:30pm), and ends at 21:30 (9:30pm). Training location at the Riverdale High School cafeteria remains unchanged.

The intake of returning cadets will take place on September 7th, and will be followed by the NCO Weekend on the weekend of September 8-9 (more information to follow.)

Registration of new recruits starts on September 14th, starting at 19:00 (7pm), until 21:00 (9pm).




INTAKE OF NEW CADETS

Date: Friday evenings, from September to end of March of the training year.
Time: 18:45 to 20:45
Location: Riverdale High School, cafeteria, Air Cadet Headquarters

s, come with your parents. A Parents' Booklet is available, as well as an application form. Please bring along:

  • One or both parents to sign the application form
  • Medicare card and a photocopy of it
  • One of the following:
    • a valid Canadian passport;
    • a birth certificate;
    • a valid resident card;
    • a valid identification card issued by a Canadian provincial or federal government agency

The application form will also be available at the squadron.






PIPES AND DRUMS

Date: Thursday
Time: 1900 - 2000
Location: Riverdale High School, cafeteria

We now have the Pipes and drums at Riverdale High School. Under the direction of CI Brandon Bernstein from the RCMP Pipes and Drums, you can learn to play the bagpipes and/or the drums. This activity is on Thursday nights from 7 to 8 pm. Bring a good attitude, a pencil, some note papers, and we will do the rest.
